Tris (2-Hydroxyethyl) isocyanurate (THEIC) is a white crystalline powder that is soluble in water.
THEIC is used in coating industry for heat resistant wire enamels, electrical insulatings, alkyd resins, urethanes, water-soluble stoving enamels and polyesters. It is also used as an intermediate for the synthesis of dyes, agrochemicals, pharmaceuticals and plasticizers.
